How to upload papers to Turnitin (students)
- Log into Blackboard
- Go to the course that was assigned a Turnitin Assignment.
- Go to the left side of the screen
- Click on the box that shows your course title.
- This should expand it.
- Select Content.
- Look for the assignment somewhere on this page.
- To narrow down the search the assignment should have an icon, like the one below, next to it.
- Click on View/Complete, once you find yours.
- Make sure this is the correct assignment and click Submit.
- Insert your first and last name, as well as, the submission title into the appropriate boxes.
- Select the way you are going to submit your paper through the drop down menu at the top.
- You can either upload a single file or you can cut/paste text.
- If you choose to upload a single file
- Click on the Choose button and a File Upload window should open.
- Select the file you want and then hit open then
- Click Upload.
- If you choose to cut/paste
- Simply cut and paste your text into the designated box
- Click upload.
- You will now be shown a preview to make sure that it is the text you wish to submit.
- Keep in mind that formatting of the text will be taken out of the preview but will show up in your actual submission.
- Click submit
